Role
Reporting to the Manager, Population Health Assessment, the epidemiologist is part of a multidisciplinary team focused on the development and ongoing operation of population health assessment activities. This position will provide leadership in developing and maintaining information resources to support the creation of indicators for surveillance and public health planning (e.g. maternal and child health, and seniors health). The position is responsible for the development of evidence and advice to support health policy and planning through the collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data on health, health determinants, risk factors, and health events.
