PLC mental health team is a group of dynamic multidisciplinary teams that work together to ensure our patients have the best care and experience. Our site runs six Addictions and Mental Health programs (two General psyche units, Day hospital, Psyche ED, Consultation Liaison and the specialty Mental Health Short Stay Unit (SSU). The SSU operates on a 72 hour crises stabilization and multidisciplinary type model serving most of our marginalized population within the zone. Unit 27 and 25 are the acute care general Psych unit.Description:
As a Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for the efficient flow of communication between health professionals, departments, patients and families while maintaining confidentiality of patient information. You will also be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks which may include reception, greeting and directing visitors, patients and health professionals, maintaining patient records and charts, transcribing and processing physician orders as well as scheduling patient tests and/or treatments.
