    This is a fully remote role and up to 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm, but open to flexibility). Employees use MSTeams as their communication platform; being comfortable with this platform is quite important. Satori would provide a laptop, monitor, and mouse for home setup. Satori would also provide training with the EMR (Accuro) but if you have previous experience with this system, it is also a huge asset. The pay for this position ranges from $22.00-$24.00 / hour.

    This ever-expanding network includes family practices, labs and imaging facilities, and specialist
    services. This innovative new health care model prioritizes the long-term health of our patients by
    connecting them with whatever expertise they need when they need it.

    Supporting our Collaborative Health programs and services, the Virtual Care Assistant works
    closely with the referrals team to provide complete medical documentation support for patient
    records.

    • Review referral requests for accuracy and completeness
    • With rigorous attention to detail, review referral packages
    • Apply strong knowledge of medical terminology to review chart and accompanying
    documentation
    • Monitor incoming documents and apply strong knowledge of medical terminology to
    review process
    • Data entry and information extraction
    • Apply excellent written use of English language to refine documents and make corrections
    • Handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with privacy laws
    • Refine use of technology platforms for continuous improvement

    Qualifications

    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven virtual environment
    • Must have experience with an EMR, Accuro and Netcare experience an asset
    • Comfort and ease with technology platforms and use of Sharepoint & Adobe
    • Strong attention to detail
    • High rate of accuracy with data entry
    • Experience with medical documentation or medical office assistant responsibilities
    • Excellent comprehension and communication in the English language both verbal and written
    • Experience in a virtual administration role
