Position Summary
Reporting to the Registration & Administration Team Lead (RATL), Academic Success Centre, the Program Assistant is responsible for a variety of administrative activities and the provision of program support for the Academic Success Centre’s Director; the Fresh Start Program; Communication Resources; Learning Resources; Writing Services; Accessibility Resources, Accommodation Supports & Services; accessibility, learning, communication, and writing strategists/advisors and services. The Program Assistant assists with the development and preparation of instructional and program materials; develops and maintains registrations systems, annual tracking of programs/services, workshop schedules, and other ongoing and annual documentation and reporting; liaises with various campus and community groups; supports Academic Success Centre participation in various educational and informational events, as well as customized instruction; coordinates Academic Success Centre contests and evaluations; contributes to the Academic Success Centre annual promotional activities; and manages student communication for various Academic Success Centre services. This position provides back up support to the Administrative Assistants, Academic Success Centre, as required.
This position is one of two Program Assistants in the Academic Success Centre and each Program Assistant provides back up support to the other Program Assistant as well as to the ASC Administrative Assistants.
