As a Medical Transcriptionist, your primary role is to transcribe audio recordings of medical professionals, converting them into accurate and formatted written documents.
– Key responsibilities include:
– Transcription: Listen to and transcribe dictated recordings, ensuring precision and adherence to medical terminology.
– Typing Skills: Demonstrate proficient typing skills to efficiently transcribe medical documents.
– Medical Terminology: Possess a strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret and transcribe complex healthcare information.
– Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of transcriptions, paying attention to details and maintaining a high level of precision.
– Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality standards in handling sensitive patient information and medical records.
– Quality Assurance: Conduct self-reviews to identify and correct errors, ensuring the quality of transcriptions meets industry standards.
– Timeliness: Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to deliver completed transcriptions within specified timeframes.
– Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify unclear dictations and resolve any discrepancies in the transcribed documents.
