Area: Neurodiversity in Aging.
Duration: 2 years, with possibility of extension depending on funding availability, performance metrics, and mutual interest.
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Salary: 50,000 $CAD per annum, plus University of Calgary Plan C health benefits.

Job Description:
This is a full-time Postdoctoral Scholar opportunity supervised by Dr. Brandy Callahan (Canada Research Chair in Adult Clinical Neuropsychology, Associate Professor of Psychology, and full member of the Hotchkiss Brain Institute). The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of projects exploring how aging is experienced by neurodiverse adults, with a focus on attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The candidate will be supported in building a research program centered primarily on understanding these individuals’ cognitive and brain health across the lifespan and into older age. Additionally, the postdoctoral scholar will have opportunities to collaborate with researchers from various faculties across campus and institutions across Canada and internationally.
Qualifications:
– PhD in Psychology awarded within the last 5 years.
– Expertise in clinical research related to neurodiversity, lifespan cognition, brain health.
– A strong background in quantitative data analysis.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Demonstrated productivity for peer-reviewed publications.
The following would be considered an asset:
– Knowledge and experience analyzing neuroimaging data and/or biosamples.
– Experience working with older adults (with or without cognitive impairment).
– Experience mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
