Full Job Description:
Providing support and assistance to adults with mental health conditions living in supported housing units.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Education in healthcare programs and job/related experience
– BC DRIVERS LICENSE CLASS 5
– USE OF PERSONAL VEHICLE
– Uninsured Motorist Protection Coverage and third party liability coverage.
– Current First Aid
– Food Safe Level 1 Certification
– Immunization Record for TB test, Hepatitis B and Influenza Vaccination
– Naloxone Training
– Energetic , Sociable, able to work in a team oriented environment.
– Good verbal and written communication
– Computer Skills
– Must be able to work alone (with direct access to supervisory contact with Administrator)
– Must be willing to accept direction, guidance and job changes from Administrator
DUTIES:
– Daily Home Visits
– Providing Prescribed Medications and Monitoring as scheduled. **
– Housekeeping duties as scheduled/assigned
– Attending appts, Grocery shopping with clients
– Transporting to and from medical/dental/specialist & other appointments when scheduled;
– Assisting client move ins/move outs.
– Communicating and documenting clients’ progress, concerns, needs or changes to Administrator and
co-workers.
– Paid Orientation shifts and full on-site training is provided for all facility and TOP programs.
– Facility Criminal Record Checks will berequired if you are a successful candidate and will be processed on site
WAGE RATE: UNION RATE: Start $27.11
Job Type: Casual
Salary: $27.11-$28.74 per hour
