Full Job Description:
Employment Term:
– Full-time, Permanent
– Patient examination and assessment, request and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures;
– Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients health (both mentally and physically);
– Administer preventative and treatment vaccinations to patients;
– Provide patients with advice, counselling and guidance on a wide range of health care, including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention;
– Coordinate or manage primary patient care;
– Medical Degree and ability to be licenced by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (“CPSA”).

Must hold or be eligible to apply to the CPSA for the Provisional Register Conditional Practice as a General Practitioner or be recognized as a specialist in Family Medicine.
– Sexual Assault or Domestic Violence;
– Interest in Aviation Medicals and being licenced for the same is an asset.
– Emergency and family medicine;
– Internal medicine;
– Minor surgery procedures (lump/lesion excisions/Botox injections);
– Pediatrics;
– Obstetrics and gynecology;
– Acute and Chronic Medical Conditions;
– Minor surgery.
– Rural Outreach Clinics and/or occupational injuries.
Skills:
– Proven experience of Medical Practice Management, previous experience with computerized Medical Records management, such as EHR Systems.
Salary:
CAD $420,000 to CAD $540,000 per annum – Fee-for-Service model.
