    ABOUT THE ROLE:
    We are ideally looking to hire someone who has 2 or more years of experience working as MOA, with a positive attitude towards learning and a coaching mindset. Salary range will reflect skills and experience accordingly.

    If you are a team player with a passion for supporting Nurses and Physicians with the goal to provide exceptional patient care, with a of knack for elevated customer service, experience performing back-end admin work, phone calls, taking vitals and measurements.

    The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, multi-talented MOA with a friendly but professional demeanour, a strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare. Key to being successful in this role is the ability to take on a variety of tasks to facilitate the workflow of our Nurses Station and help the Preventous team provide a friendly and frictionless experience for our patients.

    You are a self-starter who knows how to work in a fast-paced environment both collaboratively and on your own, and you are excited to take on a challenging role that includes a variety of admin and patient care tasks, and you take pride in being of service to patients and medical staff to elevate the healthcare experience.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    – Assist our nurses in their daily duties to ensure smooth operations in the clinic
    – Keep Doctors on Schedule, assist with the check-in of patients and check the completion of medical info before the appointment
    – Assist with updating demographic information, perform weight, height, and and head circumference for baby checks and print growth charts for the Nurses.
    – Assist with room cleaning from previous patients and set up room for current patients
    – Communicate with reception, Nurses and the Clinic Director as needed to ensure a smooth patient experience and facilitate clinic flow
    – Delegate added requests by Doctors to the nurses and enter additional appointment information
    – Keep faxes up to date
    – Maintain inventory and note any items/supplies low in stock and what needs to be ordered
    – Call patients with results
    – Perform instrument sterlization duties as per protocols
    – Complete Total Health Assessment binder
    – Fold and distribute clean gowns and equipment accordingly
    – Check Bio bins and replace prn
    – Contact Medication Reps for low stock samples as needed
    Qualifications and Skills:
    – MOA diploma.
    – Minimum 2 years of experience working in a clinical setting, ideally as an MOA.
    – Knowledge of NetCare use and functionalities
    – Team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to continuously learn and improve skills.
    – Demonstrates a strong passion and enthusiasm for preventative healthcare and patient care.
    – Excellent written and communication skills.
    – Professional etiquette.
    – Tech-savvy
    – Strong attention to details
    – Pleasant and patient verbal communication skill
    – Reliable with a can-do attitude and able to multitask
    – Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality of work
    – Independent thinker, go-getter able to work on her own as well as being part of a team
