Full Job Description:
Pine Ridge Family Medicine is a practice reminiscent of the old days of true family medicine – we like to care for people of all ages and backgrounds, as well as perform a wide variety of procedures in addition to dispensing medications, without charging more than you can afford. Our office is meant to make you feel at home. It’s as close as you can come to having a doctor in the family, without having to pay for medical school.
Duties, Responsibilities, Qualifications:
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• or equivalent experienceWork setting
• Medical clinicTasks
• Assist during assessment of patients and carry out treatment programs and develop materials for use with patients
• Assist health care professionals
• Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine
• Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages
• Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
• Record vital signs
• Clean and dress wounds
• Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation
• Maintain supplies
• Maintain inventory of equipment
• Perform general clerical duties
• Perform various administrative functions
• Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Take patients’ general medical and ophthalmic history
• Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
• Order supplies and equipment
• Organize and maintain inventoryScreening questions

• Hours: 30 hours per week
