Alberta Health Services (AHS) is offering an exciting training program to become a certified Health Care Aide (HCA) across Alberta. This position is a (FTE) position at Two Hills Health Center, Long Term Care where you have the opportunity to be employed as an HCA while completing your HCA certification from a post-secondary college. Throughout the program, you will receive support, training, and mentorship from a professional team of nurses.

The training program takes approximately 12 months to complete. The costs of tuition and training are covered by AHS. To be accepted into the program, you will need to commit to some criteria, including working in this position for 24 months at the time of hire. HCAs assist with routine care to patients and families in a variety of settings. You will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team and a valued member of the community.
