Your Opportunity
We are looking for a full-time Family Physician to join a group of family practices at our Calgary Clinic providing medical care both in-person and virtually at our clinic in Calgary.
Position:
– Family Physician – Full Time (Monday- Friday)
Location:
– Royal Vista Medical Clinic, 8730 Country Hills Blvd NW, Calgary, Alberta T3G 0E2
Salary:
– $250,000 to $375,000
Languages:
– English
Education:
– Degree in medicine
Experience/Knowledge:
– 2-3 years as a Family Physician
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
– To take on new patients as well as see acute walk-in patients.
– Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
– Leverage our powerful digital health technology to provide virtual consultations to patients from anywhere in the province.
– Reviewing laboratory and imaging results to ensure appropriate patient follow-up.
– Deal with a variety of medical concerns, including routine physicals, complex care needs, and acute illnesses.
– Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
– Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
– Advise patients on healthcare.
– Communicate health promotion, disease, illness, and accident prevention to patients.
– Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care.
Credentials:
– Certificates, licenses’, memberships, and courses

College of Physician & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $250,000.00-$375,000.00 per year
