    The keynote speaker will be Naheed K. Nenshi who served as Calgary’s mayor for three terms between 2010 and 2021. During his time, Calgary became one of the greatest cities in the world, named as the best city in which to live in the Western Hemisphere.

    Come and experience guest speakers who will give you insight on market trends and the things you can do to find and keep a job that will weather any economic storm including the future of AI, Micro credentials, and Calgary economic updates. Speakers include the following:

    Megan Zimmerman is the Senior Director of Business Development at the Calgary Economic Development. She is a born and raised Calgarian and passionate champion for the city. Recognized as part of the Avenue Calgary, Top 40 Under 40 class, she is proud to be part of a community helping to shape Calgary’s diverse, prosperous, and inclusive future.

    Ross Zariski is the Academic Innovation Projects Officer at Bow Valley College. He is passionate about education and has accumulated over a decade of experience in the post-secondary sector across BC and Alberta. His commitment to Bow Valley College spans more than seven years, during which he has contributed to various departments including: Learner Success Services, Extended Education, and Pivot-Ed. Ross holds a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, specializing in educational technology.

    Neha Gupta Arya is the Programming Officer at Pivot Ed managing micro-credentials. Her journey with Bow Valley College began in 2016 when she joined as a Stakeholder Engagement Officer overseeing alumni events and communication. She later transitioned into the role of a Programming Officer for Continuing Education. Being an immigrant, her love for education is not only a career choice but a personal mission to empower individuals to reach their full potential through continuous workplace learning.
