Career Transition Program (CTP) Application

Eligibility Requirements

This program is only open to IRCC eligible candidates in Canada (Permanent Residents and Refugees). Applicants must also be members of AIMGA. We are currently accepting applications from IMGs who are interested in this program. Following the application deadline, candidates will be contacted by AIMGA’s Program Coordinator. Depending on the number of applicants, an interview may follow to determine which applicants are most suited for this program. IMGs who have attempted to become licensed and have been unsuccessful and/or are either unemployed or underemployed will be given preference. Applicants who are selected will be required to fulfill program requirements (i.e., adhere to attendance policies, complete evaluations, and participate in follow up calls or surveys to track program outcomes). Applicants can be any of the following: 1. IMGs who are interested in alternative career pathways, 2. IMGs who have been out of practice, or 3. IMGs who are willing and ready to explore alternative career pathways.
