Optometric Assistant

Assisting optometrist by pretesting patients and other helps. Mostly works as office/administrative assistant. Optometric assistants are in charge of managing the flow of patients in the clinic, ensure checking of patient and setting up of the proper equipment for the Optometrist. They may also conduct pre-testing and contact lens training and assist patients in picking up the right eyewear for them. They maintain the reception and link the patients, Eyewear Consultants and the Optometrist.
