Have you heard about AIMGA’s Career Transition Program and wondered how this course might be of benefit to you?

CTP is designed for IMGs who are exploring employment and/or an alternative career pathway as a short, intermediate, or long-term goal. This program is a 12-week program that explores the following topics: Managing transitions, finding a job in Canada that makes use of your experience, education and expertise, alternative careers, informational interviews, understanding and using social media effectively, putting your professional biography, resume, networking, and interviewing skills to the test, giving and receiving feedback within the Canadian context, successfully managing conflict in the workplace, and the importance of soft skills, teamwork, initiative, and critical thinking.

This program has been made possible with funding from the Government of Alberta and is open to both Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens.

Join this session to learn more about this program and hear experiences and stories from our current participants!

Presented by Anne Babineau, CTP Facilitator
