Wellspring Edmonton provides a warm, welcoming environment where anyone affected by cancer can focus on non-medical needs, whether they are emotional, practical, physical or spiritual. They are located in southwest Edmonton on the South Campus of the University of Alberta.

During this session, we will have a cancer survivor Julie Rohr provide a virtual tour of the facility, elaborate on the various virtual programming offered and will speak about her own lived experience with Wellspring Edmonton.

Julie Rohr lives in Edmonton, Alberta. She is a memory collector- a photographer, mother, stepmother, wife, writer, serial volunteer and community advocate. She enjoys spending her days with her husband, David, their two boys, and puppy. Julie lives with a rare cancer doctors have called incurable, but she steadfastly entertains the idea incurable might mean different things to different people.
