Description

Want to improve on your overall wellness? AIMGA has partnered with YW Calgary to offer Mindfulness for Life workshops for FREE for all IMGs. In this Lunch and Learn session, we will explore how mindfulness skills can be applied where and when it matters the most, in everyday life. We will introduce the workshop, how to sign up and other services provided by YW.

About Mindfulness for Life:

This eight-week program looks at the connection between mindfulness and overall wellness.   Delivered as a course, facilitators work with program participants to teach mindfulness skills and how to apply them where and when it matters the most, in everyday life. When mindfulness becomes a part of your daily life, there are many benefits including reduced feelings of stress, improved coping, the ability to recognize and appreciate pleasant feelings, and improved overall wellbeing.  This course is a good fit for anybody looking to improve their overall wellness in a group learning environment.

About YW Calgary:

YW Calgary is the largest and longest-serving women’s organization in Calgary. For more than a century, we have touched tens of thousands of lives and have continually evolved our programming to meet the changing needs of women in the community.
