Please join us for a session facilitated by Dr. Alex Vukovic. Dr. Vukovic is a graduate of the Family Medicine program at the University of Calgary with added ER training and has worked as an ER physician in Bosnia during a civil war. He is a fellow IMG and currently works as a locum in ER and Urgent Care.
This session is an “ER 101” and will review the following learning objectives:
Discuss ER pitfalls and pearls, how to recognize common presentations, procedural skills, and basics of ER assessment
Discuss and dissect common ER cases
Preference will be given to those who are either registered for the March 2019 NAC OSCE or May 2019 QE2, or active participants of AIMGA’s Winter 2019 study groups. This workshop is open to both IRCC eligible (i.e., Permanent Residents, Temporary Residents, Refugees) and non-IRCC eligible (i.e., Canadian citizens).
