Session 2B: AN OVERVIEW OF RELEVANT SAIT PROGRAMS FOR IMGs CONSIDERING ALTERNATIVE CAREERS

This session will discuss healthcare related programs offered at SAIT for IMGs interested in Alternative Careers. SAIT’s specialized and in-demand programs include diagnostic and therapeutic technologies used in the treatment of disease and injury, front-line emergency care, professional assistant programs, information management, and training for wellness professionals. SAIT’s programs ensure that graduates have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that allow them to be successful in today’s dynamic health care field and contribute to the support of health communities.

This session will be presented by Michelle Middlemiss, SAIT’s School of Health and Public Safety’s Student Liaison, with a focus on 1) Diagnostic Medical Sonography 2) Primary and Advanced Care Paramedic, and 3) Respiratory Therapy.
