Description

Join us for a session facilitated by Dr. Janak Bajgai on his path into healthcare. Dr. Janak Bajgai is a PhD student at the University of Calgary in the Community Health Sciences department. He also leads a team of prevention and education in addressing HIV, Hepatitis C, and substance use issues in Calgary. His research interest lies in policy, implementation, and quality improvement of health services. He holds Master of Public Health from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK.

In this workshop, Dr. Bajgai will be sharing his pathway to research, public health, and program management while sharing his insights into ways that IMGs can inform, support, and improve the current system.
