Here are notes about this part of the application:

    • Applicants are required to complete this portion providing details explaining why they are unable to meet the application requirement.
    • Applicants are required to complete Administrative Exceptions providing details explaining why they are unable to meet the application requirement:

    Hi,
My employment date is in April 2021. However, I would also be using the letter from AIMGA and from a community individual to prove my residence. Would I still need to complete an administrative exception?

    Hello Afrah,

As long as ALL three letters can properly account for the 24 weeks of your residency in Alberta, you will not need to apply for an Administrative Exception.

    Thank you!

    Thank you Tisha,
So just to clarify, even if one document does not account for 24 weeks it’s ok as long as all the documents together account for the 24 weeks right?

Hi, I am still confused about this form as I never worked from December the first till May 18th. I was taking English courses at Bowvalley Collegeuntill until December 20th, 2020. Should I apply for an Administrative Exception Form or not? Please advise me. Thanks

    Hello Sura,

Please note the Administrative Exceptions are only if you are unable to provide complete supporting documentation or are missing gaps in your residency in Alberta.

I also strongly recommend you please book in an appointment to see one of our staff to go through your application https://aimga.ca/consultations-and-appointments/

We will also be having one last Q&A session this coming Friday: https://aimga.ca/programs/aimg-program-question-and-answer-session-8/
