Description

You want to know the hows of effective partnerships. Join Hélène Campbell, Leslee J. Thompson, Julie Drury and Heather Thiessen for another People Powered Health webinar as they get real with what effective engagement looks like.

Health Standards Organization (HSO), Accreditation Canada (AC) and the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI) are inspiring positive change. The philosophy of people-centred care is woven throughout HSO and AC’s standards criteria, Leading Practice reviews, recognition awards and accreditation services.

The four panelists will use common “must have” people-centred care partnership philosophies to illustrate what effective partnering can look like for you, wherever you are in the world.

Attendees will learn:
-How to prepare for and create an environment that fosters quality engagement for positive change

-What effective engagement looks like in practice at the individual, organizational and system levels

-How to identify and understand common pitfalls, misconceptions and how to evaluate quality patient and people-centred care

-How you can work better with patients, providers, leaders and other stakeholders for shared purpose

Featuring:
-Heather Thiessen, Patient Partner with Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), Patient Lead with HSO in partnership with Hélène Campbell, Panelist

-Julie Drury, Strategic Lead – Patient Partnership, Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Innovation

-Leslee J. Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of Accreditation Canada and Health Standards Organization, Panelist

-Hélène Campbell, Patient Lead with Health Standards Organization, Moderator
