Description

Have you been called for a residency interview or an interview with SIPPA or MLPIMG? If so, join us for a facilitated session on “the residency interview”. This session will be led by Deidre Lake, AIMGA’s Executive Director.

The purpose of this session is to provide an overall orientation to the interview and interviewers’ expectations. Common interview questions will be discussed and expected responses. There will also be time set aside to answer your questions on how to prepare, what to wear, and how to handle certain questions. This session will include a follow up resource of tips and strategies to assist you with your preparation.

Please note: this session is only open to members who can provide proof of being called for an interview to CaRMS, SIPPA, or the MLPIMG.

Please send proof of interview by sending it in confidence via email to maryanne@aimga.ca or by bringing it into the Calgary Office. If you can not show proof of interview, you will not be able to attend the session unfortunately.

Upcoming residency interview individual sessions:

*For those who wish to book individual interview sessions with Deidre or Rossalia, this will be done on a fee-for-service basis. The individual session will consist of a mock 30-40 interview and feedback session which will be videotaped for your review and educational purposes. The individual appointments will be 1 hour and 15 minutes and will cost $100. If interested, please email Mary-Anne Steiner, Program Administrator, to express your interest and availability or preferred dates so we have an idea of numbers for days needed. We will follow up with an online booking system of available dates and times.
