The AIMGA Observership Program is a 5O-hour placement under the supervision of a licensed Alberta physician or medical educator.
Observerships allow members to learn in the context of the Canadian healthcare system, to increase knowledge, to build professional networks, and to obtain feedback from a licensed Alberta physician. Observerships are often an important step of the residency application process.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be an active member of AIMGA in good standing e. have an active membership
- Must be an Alberta resident
- Must have passed the MCCQEl
- Must have a minimum of an overall score of 5 on the Academic IELTS or equivalent {OET, CELBAN, CLBA, ELTPA)
