Description

Dr. Sumedh Bele will be joining us to discuss the latest evidence/practices in patient-oriented and patient engagement research.

 

Dr. Sumedh Bele, PhD, MBBS, MPH is the Assistant Director for the Patient Engagement Team at the Alberta Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research Support Unit (AbSPORU). Sumedh provides services on patient engagement aspects in the research projects to researchers throughout Alberta. His supports include developing patient engagement plans and supporting researchers throughout the research cycle. He also organizes and moderates monthly Patient Engagement Journal Club. Sumedh recently completed his PhD specializing in health services research from the University of Calgary. His doctoral project focused on integration of the Patient-reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and Patient-reported Experience Measures (PREMs) in pediatric health systems in Alberta.
