CaRMS Preparation Program (Cohort 6-Jan)
January 5, 2021 - January 21, 2021
9:30 am - 12:30 pm
The CaRMS Preparation Program (CPP) assists IMGs to understand the organizational structure of the Canadian Healthcare System and the essential skills and knowledge required to function as a physician within that system.
The 6 sessions are most suited for those who have already completed the NAC-OSCE exam and are applying for residency through CaRMS, the Practice Readiness Assessment, or an ACSAP as it provides details on practicing in Canada, physician roles and responsibilities including CanMEDs, the CaRMS application, your resume/CV, and writing personal statements so that you have the tools to successfully apply to CaRMs.
Please be aware that this course will require 2 -3 hours of additional time spent on assignments for each session.
The program is held on the following Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm: January 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th, and 21st. Zoom links will be emailed closer to the start date for the course.
Should the session be full and you would like to be placed on a waitlist, please email Monica at email@example.com or Shola at firstname.lastname@example.org.
