Description

Basic Life Support Certification For Health Professionals (BLS) is a mandatory certification for all who work with Alberta Health Care System. It is based on the Heart and Stroke Foundation curriculum used for the training of health care providers. BLS is delivered by certified instructors and is opened each month to 6 IMGs. Participants receive a certificate only passing the exam at the close of the training.

This course has been made possible with funding from the Government of Canada (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada – IRCC). As a result, we can only accept those whom are considered IRCC eligible which includes: Permanent Residents, some Temporary Residents, and Refugees. If you are a Canadian Citizen, you may still apply; however you will be added to the wait list and there will be a fee of $100.
