General learning ability to assist dietitians and nutritionists in planning and supervising food service operations

Clerical perception to maintain inventory control and other operational records

Objective interest in purchasing and requisitioning food, equipment and other supplies, in assisting with supervision of personnel who prepare and serve food, and in inspecting work areas and storage facilities to ensure sanitary standards

Innovative interest in assisting dietitians with research in food, nutrition and food service systems

Methodical interest in compiling data to plan menus and diets for individuals and groups under the direction of dietitians and nutritionists; and in helping patients complete menus
