Position Overview
The Department of Physiology & Pharmacology in the Cumming School of Medicine invites applications for a Study Coordinator. This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 1 year (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.
The Study Coordinator (SC) reports directly to the Lead Investigator in the Laboratory of Human Cerebrovascular Physiology. The SC will oversee the day-to-day operations of a CIHR-funded randomized controlled trial entitled: Brain-in-Motion II.
The SC will pay special attention to interpersonal communications with participants, as the incumbent will be the key contact to all participants throughout the 18-month study. The SC’s ability to maintain respectful and helpful relations with this particular population (age 55 to 85 years) is of great importance to recruiting and retaining participants throughout the study (the most demanding recruitment phase of the study is now completed).
