    Position Overview

    The Community Health Sciences in the Cumming School of Medicine invites applications for a Research Analyst, Health Technology Assessment. This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 12 months (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.

    Reporting to the Director, Health Technology Assessment Unit.

    At the Health Technology Assessment Unit, we are a team of dedicated health services researchers who are passionate about bridging the gap between science and policy. Together, we offer a unique skill set in systematic reviews, health economics, and health technology assessment. Our vision is to be a leader in supporting evidence-informed health policy with innovative and relevant research. We actively build capacity in both the evidence producing and evidence receiving communities.

    Position Description

    Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):

    Oversee and execute systematic reviews of published and grey literature

    Enable efficient team collaboration across multiple research objectives

    Creativity in methodological approaches and their application to policy relevant work

    Execute multiple projects in a timely fashion while upholding the best practices for scientific rigor

    Effectively communicate and enable best practices for the research team within the field of knowledge synthesis and policy analysis

    Preparation of manuscripts for publication, and other dissemination activities

    Contribute to and foster the positive team environment

    Manage multiple projects to deliver on time in accordance with the Unit’s commitment to high quality evidence-informed research
