TELUS Health is looking for a Physician Assistant for several remote mining sites across Canada. This is a casual position intended to provide coverage where it’s needed due to vacant positions, gaps in coverage or vacation leave. Coverage may range between 1 – 3 weeks at a time.
What You’ll Do
Provide primary and emergency care to all patients at the remote site within the scope of the medical directives
Provide occupational health services, to include spirometry and audiometric testing to employees at remote site
Record all patient encounters and document appropriately
Communicate with onsite and offsite personnel to ensure appropriate patient care
Provide support to the onsite client as required
Report workplace injuries to the proper provincial bodies as requiredClick HERE to apply
