ISIS Women’s Health Clinic was formed in 2011 in Calgary. The doctors are part of a larger group of 16 obstetricians and gynecologists who practice out of Foothills Medical Centre.

Our growing clinic is presently recruiting for up to three Medical Office Assistants. The successful candidate(s) will begin in the reception role and have the opportunity to learn additional aspects of clinic operations (OR bookings, referrals, etc.) as they become more comfortable within their role.

The receptionist is the first point of contact for patients at our clinic, for both the telephone and in person. This role is really the “Director of First Impressions” for those interacting with our clinic. The receptionist plays a pivotal role in triaging incoming calls and ensuring that patients feel welcome, heard and seen. Reporting into the Director, Operations this position is responsible for ensuring the clinic flows well, faxes and scans are delegated appropriately, patients are promptly welcomed and incoming patient and physician calls are managed and triaged in a timely manner.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
