Bringing your own extensive clinical experience with direct patient care, team-based care and management of health care systems, you will provide expert medical advice and recommendations on a wide range of complex clinical, operational and policy issues, to key partners both within and outside of Alberta Health. Contributing to the establishment of Alberta Health’s priorities and standards, you will assist to guide clinical and health system initiatives, providing pragmatic acute care, community care and continuing care perspectives to decision makers. Core responsibilities include: addressing physician specific issues that affect the health system; providing expert advice on physician compensation; and advising on Out of Country and Out of Province applications, investigations and medical management proposed for specific patients.
