    We are seeking a Regular Full Time Clinic Support Specialist – MSK (1.0) . Reporting to the X-Ray Supervisor, the Clinic Support Specialist works closely with Xray/Mammo, Reception, Ultrasound teams, and the EFW Physician to ensure that the patient experience is efficient and effective. The incumbent must be dedicated to quality patient care and want to support the front-line team of dynamic health care professionals.

    Key Responsibilities

    Responsible for supporting clinic operations; working closely with X-Ray/Mammo,
    Reception, Ultrasound teams, and the on-site EFW Physician to ensure that the patient experience is efficient and effective so that exceptional care is provided to all patients;
    Change and assist patients in preparation for procedures while maintaining patient appointment times in correct order;
    Organize the flow of all linen including but not limited to:
    Incoming, outgoing & stocking of change rooms and procedure rooms;
    Check linen supplier’s packing slips against invoices and manage discrepancies through appropriate channels.
    Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of change rooms, waiting areas and stretcher bay;
    Unpack clinic supplies and distribute to appropriate areas;
    Assist with cleaning of procedure rooms at the end of the day;
    Complete clerical duties including but not limited to:
    Print reports/forms, file, photocopy, scan technologist worksheets/forms;
    Assist with the management of packing slips and invoices;
    Patient reminder phone calls when applicable;
    Complete other miscellaneous paperwork.
    Autoclave or disinfect medical devices following specific protocols;
    Check AED’s and emergency drug cart monthly;
    Adheres to all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures as they relate to EFW, our patients and our employees, ensuring that all personal and health information is collected, used, disclosed and safeguarded;
    Demonstrates EFW values of Compassion, Trust, and Meaning in the workplace;
    Undertakes other related duties as assigned.
