The Administrative Support III – Pediatric Clinical Services Scheduler position performs a wide range of clinical and clerical activities that contribute to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Ambulatory clinical scheduling operations. The highest level of reliable services will be provided by this position while keeping patient privacy and security confidential at all times. As part of the Pediatric Clinical Services Team, the position is responsible for clinical appointment scheduling, as well as coordination of incoming referrals and clinical tests for 7 physicians participating in the Pediatric Nephrology program. Demands of this position are extensive due to the volume of work and the variety of tasks performed.

The Pediatric Clinical Services Scheduler as the first point of contact for patients’ families communicate directly with families to coordinate their clinical scheduling needs. The position follows and consistently applies comprehensive written procedures, hence needs to adapt quickly to changing priorities, to meet the demands posed by ongoing operational changes within The Stollery Children’s Hospital Ambulatory clinics. The position is a frontline AUPE – GSS union position and reports to the Team Lead of Pediatric Clinical Services within the Pediatric Clinical Services Team.
