This program is open to: 1) Permanent Residents and 2) Canadian Citizens residing in Canada and entitled to work in Canada and with a Social Insurance Number (SIN). Individuals who are on temporary work permits do not qualify for this program. Applicants must be members of AIMGA and must be available to attend either online classes (Fridays, 9:00am-1:30pm) or in person classes (Saturdays, 9:00am-1:30pm) from September to December, 2024.

As this is an employment focused program, it is expected that selected participants will be actively seeking employment throughout the program or developing a career plan which may involve enrolling in further training to become employed. A portion of the program will be dedicated to ensuring participants have the tools and job search skills to seek employment and/or enroll in further training if desired.
