I want to express my appreciation for the unwavering and unlimited support I enjoyed in preparation for MCCQE1 and NAC OSCE exams. AIMGA preparatory classes and importantly NAC mock exam had an immense, invaluable contribution to the success I achieved in the exams. Dr. Nuruddin, I appreciate your courteous, polite, insightful, focused and mindful coordination of the online zoom meetings. The online Zoom meetings made participation feasible for many and we pray it continues. Appreciation to all AIMGA members of staff for their selfless contribution in helping IMGs achieve their dream.

I am very thankful to the AIMGA staff for their services, guidance, and support for my application for residency training. I was impressed by the extent of support AIMGA provides to its members from study groups, workshops, and mock exams to the point of entry into the residency programs.

The best part of AIMGA is, without a doubt, the support for CaRMS – I credit AIMGA for my meeting the application deadlines this year. As a result of Deidre’s invaluable coaching, I have been able to update my CaRMS application form and develop my personal letters.

I am extremely thankful and express my sincere gratitude to the AIMGA team for the incredible assistance offered during my residency pathway.

Deidre, I want to express my profound gratitude to you for the great job you are doing at AIMGA. Indeed, your coming has renewed my hope and desire to pursue fulfillment and satisfaction as an IMG. Your advocacy for IMGs especially in Alberta has been amazing. Even in events where we might not be present, you have held forth for us. Thank you for all that you do.

I cannot thank you enough for the support you have given me over the last year. There are certain times in a person’s life when you fully understand the value of a professional support. Thanks a lot Deidre, Kim, Monica, and Mahenaz for your great effort in organizing different exam preparation courses, mock exams, and friendly advice. I truly appreciate all AIMGA has done for me.

I want to sincerely thank you for all you do for us at AIMGA. I am so delighted to see my IELTS results following the classes AIMGA organized as they made the difference and I achieved the score I needed. Writing is no longer an obstacle. Thanks a million!

The services and stepwise guidance provided at AIMGA are phenomenal. It is a one stop center for IMGs to answer their questions related to pathways into different health care professions or back into practice of medicine through the practice-ready stream or residency training.

My association with AIMGA has been very rewarding. The challenges of IMGs are real but surmountable and I found AIMGA to be tremendously helpful to meet those challenges. I have always felt being valued, respected and well supported in my journey towards integration into Canadian healthcare system.

The journey to practice in Canada is long and arduous. There were days when I felt like a boat in a rough storm at sea. Despite my determination and conviction, without AIMGA’s guidance I would not make the distance to practice. AIMGA, under the leadership of Deidre, was instrumental in my success. My sincerest and heartfelt THANK YOU to all at AIMGA, I will remain forever grateful!!

AIMGA was very instrumental in my preparation for the MCC examinations as well as my application for residency. I am grateful to AIMGA for all the resources along the way; I am currently a resident in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the University of Alberta and I owe it largely to AIMGA.

AIMGA has been, for me, a light amid darkness and gloom. Certainty in areas of uncertainty and courage to achieve my goals in times of despair. Giving the right kind of information and encouragement in the face of vast information that are almost drowning. Thanks to the team at AIMGA for the great work you all do.

I am a Canadian who studied abroad. Upon returning to Canada, I experienced nothing but hurdles and was at the point of giving up. It was the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta who gave me AIMGA’s contact information. My first telephone encounter, and every subsequent interaction with AIMGA has been nothing but positive. AIMGA has given me the resources and tools that I need to succeed. I could not have gotten to where I am, and where I will be in the future, had it not been for AIMGA. Thank you for all that you do!!

The CTP program helped me develop important skills like networking during my career transition. I got exposure to a wide variety of options and what I needed to achieve those targets. I have also made some lasting friendships with some members in my cohort.

Being a member of AIMGA had always been very helpful for me. Like many others, this is my first time applying to CARMS. Before CET, I wasn’t aware of the details of supporting documents required for CARMS application. I would like to thank AIMGA specially Mahenaz who did a wonderful job delivering CETs to IMGs and being helpful regarding my CaRMS application and reviewing my Resume and Personal Statements.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to you and your team for organizing such a valuable and enriching learning experience.
The course exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The content was comprehensive, well-structured, and delivered by highly knowledgeable instructors who were passionate about their subjects. I came across AIMGA via a friend, and I have to say, joining AIMGA has been one of the best decisions I ever made. The study groups at AIMGA were very instrumental to my success in passing the MCCQE1 and NAC OSCE. AIMGA helped me focus on reading and kept me motivated.
